| February 28th Global Call On February 28th, the NGO Committee on Sustainable Development-NY partnered with UN2020 and Together First to facilitate the UN2020 monthly online meeting. The meeting took place at the Baha’i International Community Office in New York and featured an interactive discussion among UN2020 participating organizations and the co-facilitators of the intergovernmental negotiations, H.E. Ms. Alya Ahmed Saif Al-Thani (Qatar) and H.E. Ms. Anna-Karin Eneström (Sweden). A full report on the meeting can be found on the UN2020 website. |
| Coming soon UN75 People’s Forum: Pre-register for the UN75 People’s Forum (April 23-24, 2020) for updates. An update on the possible impact of the coronavirus on the venue of the forum will be provided as soon as access to UN HQ during the month of April has been clarified. (The current draft concept note for the People’s Forum is available here.) Inputs on the UN75 People’s Declaration: Conference calls will take place later in March to solicit further contributions to the Declaration. Another monthly UN2020 global call will be held at the end of March. “Thank You UN” book launch in April: You’ll be able to contribute to an online book of testimonials about the UN from people all over the world. |
